Building Movement Democracy through Democratic Facilitation (Course Starts on Oct 15, 2026)
Facilitator: Chie Matsumoto
We all have attended meetings where decisions were made by only a few members, most outspoken ones or someone at the top. We may have once thought, “Why am I even here?” and left without saying a word. Democracy starts in the smallest conversations, dialogues and meetings by raking in most diverse opinions and ideas, piecing them together to create something new and meaningful to all participants.
Building Movement Democracy through Democratic Facilitation (Course Starts on Oct 15, 2026)
Worker Cooperatives: Can Cooperating Transform How We Work Together? (Course Starts on Oct 10, 2026)
Facilitators: Emi Do and Matt Noyes
Worker cooperatives are enterprises that are owned and governed by workers. When all of our working experiences have been in profit-maximizing enterprises, or in workplaces that are structured hierarchically, it is no wonder that we can encounter challenges when attempting to work together cooperatively. In this course we will explore the challenges and tensions when there are no bosses to hate!
Worker Cooperatives: Can Cooperating Transform How We Work Together? (Course Starts on Oct 10, 2026)
Careful, We’re Organizing aka How to Fight without Falling Apart (Course Starts on Oct 21, 2026)
Facilitator: Nash Tysmans
Movements are built through relationships. Yet the pressures of organizing (urgency, conflict, exhaustion, political disagreement, and unequal power) can strain those relationships and undermine our collective capacity. How can we build movements that are both effective in challenging injustice and caring in how we work together?
Careful, We’re Organizing aka How to Fight without Falling Apart (Course Starts on Oct 21, 2026)
Building Strong Union Committee at Workplace (Course starts on Oct 15, 2026)
Facilitator: Sithar Chhim
In order to win any campaign at workplace, unions need to be strong enough to pressure the company. Building a strong and representative committee is the only way to win over the bosses who have well organized structure at workplace compare to workers.
Building Strong Union Committee at Workplace (Course starts on Oct 15, 2026)
Designing Radical Walking Tours (Course Starts on Oct 12, 2026)
Facilitator: Kevin Lin
Have you ever thought about leading your own radical walking tour to share with friends the significance of places and histories in your city? Leading and participating in a radical walking tour is not only educational but fun and always memorable. A walking tour provides a concrete sense of places, people, and histories. This course will walk you through the conceptualisation, research and logistics of a radical walking tour, and hear ideas and experiences from other participants across Asia.
