A wildcat strike by hundreds of workers at the Charis sculpture factory in Yangon, producing for Wise Unicorn Industrial Ltd. Workers demanded unpaid bonuses, the dismissal of a director accused of assaulting two female staff and the reinstatement of sacked colleagues. More than 50 workers were dismissed and the employer sought junta intervention.
