Indonesian unions called a three-day national strike from 6 to 8 October 2020 against the Omnibus Law on job creation, passed by Parliament on 5 October. Hundreds of thousands of workers stopped production at Bekasi Regency industrial estates including Ejip, MM2100, Jababeka 1 and Jababeka 2, while demonstrations and student protests filled Jakarta and other cities. Police detained at least 400 people in Jakarta and IndustriALL reported arrests and police violence against trade unionists.

Outcome
Lost – The strike did not reverse the law: Parliament passed the Omnibus Law on 5 October 2020 and unions moved to a Constitutional Court challenge. detikcom reported 'hundreds of thousands' of workers stopping production in Bekasi Regency over three days; organising unions claimed two million nationally, and police detained at least 400 people in Jakarta on 8 October, so the action is recorded as lost. No verified total for participants was published, so the worker count is left empty.
